Barcelona continue to grapple with a lengthy injury list ahead of the midweek fixture. Joan Garcia, Marc-André ter Stegen, Gavi, and Dani Olmo all remain sidelined, while Robert Lewandowski is set for around a month on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury during international duty.
Raphinha is still a doubt, having missed the last four matches, and Ferran Torres is racing against time to recover from his own hamstring issue. However, Barcelona are unlikely to take any unnecessary risks, especially with El Clásico looming at the weekend.
Fermín López is pushing for a starting role after making an impact as a half-time substitute last time out. Ronald Araújo and Gerard Martín are also in contention to start should Hansi Flick look to rotate his defensive options.
