Al-Nassr are unlikely to include Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad for this encounter, as the 40-year-old has not featured in the competition this season. Nevertheless, the hosts are still expected to field several high-profile names, with Joao Felix set to start, while Wesley and Marcelo Brozovic should also feature prominently.
The Saudi side will be without three injured players on Wednesday, as Sami Al-Najei, Saad Al-Nasser and Abdulmalik Al-Jaber all remain sidelined. In addition, Sadio Mane is unavailable due to his international commitments with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Al Zawraa, meanwhile, will look to Hasan Abdulkareem for inspiration in attack, with the forward currently the club’s top scorer this season, having netted five goals across all competitions. Mahdi Al-Humaidan, who has scored twice this term, is also expected to start in the final third, while Kadhim Raad should be a key presence in defence.
The Iraqi outfit head into the match with no new injury concerns reported.
