Prediction and Preview

The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025

With just 17 days remaining until the New Year, the curtain is slowly coming down on the 2025 football season. Before the final whistle is blown, however, the game’s biggest stars will take centre stage one last time at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025.

Football’s most prestigious individual honours will be handed out on Tuesday, 16 December, at the Fairmont Katara Hall in Doha, Qatar, where the world’s elite players, coaches and fans will gather for a glamorous end-of-year celebration.

Awards will be presented across multiple categories, including Best Player (men’s and women’s), Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, Goal of the Year (men’s and women’s), as well as the FIFA Fair Play Award and the FIFA Fan Award. The highlight of the evening remains the fiercely contested Player of the Year crowns.

How the voting works

Winners are determined through a balanced voting system, with four groups carrying equal weight (25% each):

  • National team captains

  • National team coaches

  • Media representatives from FIFA member associations

  • Registered fans worldwide
