Rรบben Amorim confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Manchester United will not be welcoming any injured players back for the visit of Leeds United, dashing hopes of returns for either Bruno Fernandes (hamstring) or Kobbie Mainoo (calf).
Matthijs de Ligt (back), Mason Mount (muscle) and Harry Maguire (hamstring) also remain sidelined, while Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are unavailable due to their involvement at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite Leeds expected to deploy another wing-back system on Sunday, Amorim may consider reverting to the four-man defence used against Newcastle. Such a switch would allow Patrick Dorgu greater attacking freedom down the right flank, potentially offering United an additional outlet in wide areas.
Leeds, meanwhile, emerged from their spirited display at Anfield with one notable setback, as Ethan Ampadu collected his fifth yellow card of the season. The suspension rules the midfielder out of the trip to Old Trafford and leaves Daniel Farke with a decision to make in the centre of the park.
Ao Tanaka is the most natural replacement, though Farke could opt to persist with Ilia Gruev, move Brenden Aaronson into a deeper midfield role and restore Dominic Calvert-Lewin to the starting XI. The former Everton striker was used only as a substitute against Liverpool as part of a load-management approach, but that decision coincided with the end of his six-game scoring run, and he is widely expected to return to the lineup on Sunday.
On the injury front, Leeds will be without Sean Longstaff (calf), Joe Rodon (ankle) and Daniel James (thigh), while Sebastiaan Bornauw is a doubt after picking up a knock at Anfield.
