Defending champions Calicut FC will look to maintain their winning momentum when they face Thrissur Magic FC in a high-voltage clash of the second Super League Kerala (SLK) football tournament at the EMS Corporation Stadium here on October 11 at 7:30 pm.
Currently joint leaders on the points table alongside Kannur Warriors and Malappuram FC (each with three points), Calicut FC will aim to continue their strong start to the campaign with another commanding performance.
In the opening match of SLK 2025 on October 2, Calicut edged past Forca Kochi FC 2-1, replicating the scoreline of last season’s final between the same two teams.
Adding an extra layer of intrigue, Thrissur Magic FC remains the only side Calicut failed to beat during the inaugural 2024 season. The two sides met twice last year — the first encounter ended in a stalemate, while Thrissur clinched victory in the reverse fixture at Malappuram.
