Barcelona will be without four first-team players for Sunday’s clash due to injury, with Gavi (knee), Andreas Christensen (knee), Pedri (hamstring) and Ferran Torres (muscle) all unavailable for selection.
There is positive news for the Catalan giants, however, as Lamine Yamal returns to the squad after serving a suspension that ruled him out of Wednesday night’s Champions League encounter against Slavia Prague.
Pedri’s absence is expected to prompt a midfield reshuffle, with Eric Garcia likely to step into a central role. In attack, Robert Lewandowski is set to retain his place leading the line, while Marcus Rashford is once again expected to begin the contest on the bench.
