Team News & Expected Line-ups
Al Kholood head into this contest with no significant injury concerns, leaving head coach Buckingham with a near full-strength squad to select from. Juan Pablo Cozzani is expected to retain his place between the posts, while Norbert Gyomber and Shaquille Pinas should once again marshal the centre of defence.
In attack, Ramiro Enrique has been the standout performer for the hosts this season, netting 10 league goals so far, including Al Kholood’s only strike in their recent defeat to Al Ettifaq. The Argentine forward will again carry much of the attacking burden. Kevin N’Doram and John Buckley are set to anchor the midfield, providing balance and protection, while Hattan Bahbri is likely to keep his spot in the forward line.
Al Nassr, meanwhile, received a boost last time out as Sadio Mane returned to the starting XI against Al Taawoun, completing 88 minutes, and the Senegal international is expected to feature once again. Sami Al-Najei remains doubtful as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury, while Saad Haqawi is also a concern due to ongoing fitness issues.
Up front, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to lead the line alongside Joao Felix, with both attackers eager to make amends after failing to find the net in the previous match. With their title ambitions firmly intact, Al Nassr will be looking for a more clinical performance in the final third.
